A lightning quick combo guard, Monta Ellis has taken his game to new heights this season. The 24 year old guard from Jackson, Mississippi has recovered all of the explosiveness that he had prior to the devastating ankle injury that sidelined him for much of last season.

This kid is having an ALL-STAR worthy season.
It gave me headaches reading about his offseason ramblings. It also seems that he's spent more time at the tat parlor over improving his game. I still see the same monta of 2007, nothing more or less :p. But whatever, he's young so he gets a pass.

i wish they'd rest him up a bit more and tone down his min so he'd have enough for the whole season, not like we're winning anyway.

Monta has been playing "Sprewell-like" minutes this year. He's taken on a lot of contact, and faced the opposing team's best perimeter player each night. Needless to say, the dude needs HELP. I doubt that he gets that help this season, especially with Azubuike out for the year.

Nevertheless, he's had an amazing year so far. I pray that it continues.

dude is one of the most explosive players in the nba. i just hope the warriors dont make the mistake again and let a guy like this get away. i just wish they could get him some real help or atleast get him a coach that has consistency on who to play.
